Lost In You (Boom Jinx Remix)

It appears that Boom Jinx has finally gotten around to finishing his remix of Dusky's track "Lost In You" featuring Janai. And might I add, it's incredible!

Hopefully we will get an official release once his upcoming album debuts in the next few months, however it is on Ministry of Sound's: Chilled House Session 4 compilation.

Boom Jinx (real name Øistein Johan Eide) is a music producer, composer, audio technician, sound designer and DJ hailing from Norway.
Here is the original for those wanting to juxtapose sounds.

Matt Lange Compilation / 2014

For those of you who have been following Mr. Matt Lange for that past while now, you'd know that he has been a bit m.i.a however, he returns once again via Anjunadeep with that golden, velvety smooth sound. Deep House/Deep Trance buffs unite!

Here's a quick bio for those in the dark.

Matt Lange is an American electronic music producer and DJ based in Los Angeles. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in music synthesis and owns the label Iso-Rhythm. His releases on Anjunabeats have seen support from artists including Richie Hawtin, Armin Van Buuren, and Above and Beyond, amongst others, and is known for his precision and versatility in sound design and composition.

Lange has earned engineering and production credits on many notable dance releases, including Markus Schulz' "Scream" as well as BT's Grammy-nominated album These Hopeful Machines. Many of Lange's EPs, notably Bad Year Blimp/Revolver and Avalon/Griffith Park, have charted in the top 20 on the Beatport Progressive House charts with is single "Rift" reaching #1 on the Beatport Chill Out chart. Lange's ability as a composer and sound engineer has earned him credits on numerous TV productions as well as the forthcoming Fox Digital production, ETXR. His song with Blake Lewis, "Your Touch," was featured in the Internet Explorer 10 commercials.

Lange has produced official remixes for both Usher and the Halo 4 Original Soundtrack, in addition to many others, including a rework of Redanka & Quivver's "Under The Sun" that reached #7 on the Glitch Hop Beatport chart. He also scored the 2014 film ETXR.

Vibe Magazine named Lange the #1 DJ to watch in 2014.

The first track is presented with the vocals of Jeza. A great minimalist house feel with soft synths to complete.

Lange with Jeza
Next on the list, we have Inverse. A brilliant big room buildup (already being used by the likes of Armin for his opening sets). Matt uses a combination of instruments in progression which sound an awful lot like pieces of his track(s) with Andrew Bayer (think In And Out Of Phase and Rift ).

We now slide right into "This Is How It Is". A wonderful rendition of story without words. Let your mind zone out and glide along to this.

Fast forward to "So Cliche". Guitar rifts, trancey break downs and a lovely melody really round off this track. Have a listen for yourself.

Things get considerably more up beat with "East Coast". Enjoy the proggy uplifting melodic progression as Lange takes you on a magnificent ride!

But above all, who can possibly forget last years classic, "Only You"

I'm looking forward to the next volume of Anjunadeep.

Viva la house!
