Thinking (Mark Knight Remix)

Nothing quite like some fresh proggy house, especially when it's a Submotion Orchestra + Mark Knight combo.

Keep on spinnin'

Talk To Me (Orjan Nilsen Remix) + (Activa Pres. Solar Movement Remix)

Massive massive remix by Orjan Nilsen of John O'Callaghan + Timmy & Tommy's "Talk To Me".
2011's tune of the year! No idea as to why I haven't posted this already!

The original was always a personal favourite as I would always use that buzz saw synth when making tracks on fruityloops (which I plan on getting back into. Miss the studio life).

Here is Activa Pres. Solar Movement's Remix

Keep on spinnin'

Melodic Match Volume 01

It's quite fascinating when you find two songs with similar chords and progression. Even though they are in totally different genres (one is progressive house, the other progressive trance) and utilize a plethora of different techniques, it's cool when you can hear a similar melody. Perhaps I'll make a mashup one of these days (I've been saying this for ages!). Anywho, this will probably be the start of something of that sort. Here are the first two "mashup" worthy tracks lol.

Lost In You (Boom Jinx Remix)

It appears that Boom Jinx has finally gotten around to finishing his remix of Dusky's track "Lost In You" featuring Janai. And might I add, it's incredible!

Hopefully we will get an official release once his upcoming album debuts in the next few months, however it is on Ministry of Sound's: Chilled House Session 4 compilation.

Boom Jinx (real name Øistein Johan Eide) is a music producer, composer, audio technician, sound designer and DJ hailing from Norway.
Here is the original for those wanting to juxtapose sounds.

Dusky is an electronic music duo from London consisting of Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman. Formed in 2011, they have released on labels such Anjunadeep, Simple Records, Dogmatik Records, Aus Music and Naked Naked, before setting up their own label 17 Steps in July 2014 with the release of the Love Taking Over EP.
I've got em' on repeat. Keep on spinnin'

I Can't Understand

Ain't nothing like some delicious house. Chocolate Puma dished out something special with "I Can't Understand".

Zki & Dobre, known by many aliases, but currently most well known as Chocolate Puma (alternatively as The Good Men and as The Goodmen), are a Dutch house music duo from Haarlem, Netherlands.

Enjoyeth!

Deep In My Heart

A beautiful recording from Denis Kenzo feat the vocals of Sveta B. This was previously the tune of the week on A State Of Trance (683).

Melodic breaks followed by euphoric reverbed guitar rifts really set this one apart from many others.

I myself enjoy a tune which can pick you up, calm you down and then push that intensity back up again. Excellent background driving music!

Lookout for the official release via Armind soon.

Fantasy

Everything about this is on point. Vocals, Beat, Progression, Vibe. The feel is unreal!

I really do feel as if I'm whisked away to another place. It's amazing as I had just stumbled upon this masterpiece!

As always, enjoy responsibly... with a heavy dosage of bass.

Feel.Blue

Switching things up a bit and slowing things down. Enjoy this chilled out tune from Skye Chai.

Zebra (Nuera Remix)

Out of the vault comes a fairly older, yet mind bending remix from Nuera.

Joe Garrett (born 24 October 1986), better known by his stage name Temple One, is an English trance DJ and music producer with a string of successful releases on Enhanced Music, Armada Music and Flashover Recordings.

Temple One's "Zebra" combines a slow progression of synths and pop kicks to a climax of big room sound. Nuera took an already astounding song and turned it into his very own example of perfection.

Released back on 03/21/2011 via Enhanced Recordings, Zebra is still going strong. This is the true sound of Trance Energy.

Definitely a personal fave. Keep on spinnin'

Reasons To Forgive (T-Mass Remix)

Next up is the T-Mass remix of Kristy Hawkshaw's - Reason To Forgive. Just nasty, absolutely filthy sound. Get pumped!

Cadence

Apologies for not keeping this blog alive. I've been pretty busy with a ton of other projects, however I will continue to keep things fresh. Now for a little melodic dubstep.

Remember Me

Hazem is UNSTOPPABLE. Quality releases throughout 2014.

Take Me Away - Andrew Bayer & James Grant Remix

Grant

Bayer

Mr. Bayer and Mr. Grant really know the recipe for a great tune.

Somewhere Up Here

Why am I JUST hearing this now?!

This my friends, would be the epitome of progressive trance. At times, it really does bother me when artists fail to do well at a certain genre but Mr. Zimmerman never fails. From proggy house, to hair rising trance, he really does have a good eye ..err ear when it comes to music.

As for not hearing this track until now, "Somewhere Up Here" has not been officially released, so... that actually makes quite a lot of sense lol.

Enjoyeth.

Zimmerman know's wussup!

... and he was somewhat local haha.

Zanarkand

Too many feels! Shogun paying homage to Final Fantasy X OST. This will be played over, and over, and over and over! This really is a wonderful version of a timeless piece of music.

Aerys

*Heatbeat is an Argentinian trance and electro house production duo that was formed in 2006 by Agustin Servente and Matias Chavez AKA Matias Faint. They have been providing a number of hits since their arrival. Their most famous tracks to date are 'Paradise Garage', 'Ask The Angels’, 'Roses Never Cry', ‘Rocker Monster', 'Chow Mein' and most recently ‘Aerys’. Implementing various Spanish-styled note sections into their tracks, their style of Trance is unique and identifiable. Signing on to the Armada record label started by famous Trance Artist Armin Van Buuren, their music reaches a widespread Trance audience. - Wiki

Oh man!

No words, only beats.

Dissolve

Finally released via Armind (Armada), Simon Patterson's masterpiece, with the help of Sarah Howells and her lovely vocals. One of my personal favourites. Enjoy!

Sunshine Thru Rain Clouds

Moar electro! A fresh piece from Nervo ft. the vocals of Duane Harden. Can someone say "big room"?!

Bootcamp

I've been in a deep house state for the past few weeks. Let's turn up the bpm's and kick it off with some new stuff from Jay Jay Hardway. Get ready for Bootcamp.

The Anjunadeep Edition 04 w/ Thomas Schwartz & Fausto Fanizza

I'm a tad late on the upload however, let us continue into the deep. This weeks podcast consists of Italy's; Thomas Schwartz and Fausto Fanizza. Be sure to check out their newest tracks; "You Would" and "Mad Dog" Here

Twice As Nice

This is absolutely eargasmic. There is nothing quite as wonderful in comparison than some old school, late 90's trance. Check out this classic from Overture.

Love love love! Here is also a great remix from Guy J, recently released on Anjunabeats Volume 11.

The Anjunadeep Edition 03 w/ Vincenzo

Welcome back to another weekly podcast of The Anjunadeep Edition. This weeks episode is hosted by none other than Vincenzo, featuring tracks from his No Strings Attached EP. So sit back, buckle up and enjoy the smooth uplifting beats of the deeper kind.

Under Your Cloud

A recent release (05/18) and an amazing collaboration! I never thought I would see the day when Myon and Shane 54 + Kaskade + Late Night Alumni team up.

Seeya / Avaritia

Mr. Zimmerman released 2 new ones a few days back. I'm digging the old school Daft Punk feel however, the remixes are what I am truly excited for.

I'm also lol'ing at the fact that he used audio from Minecraft to mix into Avaritia.
